Abdullahi, Secretary of State Government of Nasarawa (SSG) made this revelation in a statement he made available to Lafia journalists. He said that the suspension, which took immediate effect, would give rise to the repositioning of the board to improve the effective delivery of the service. When NAN contacted both the suspended secretary and Mallam Tijjani Ahmed, the state's education commissioner for their reactions, the duo rejected comments on the matter. However, the two government officials said they would not say anything about the matter, as police began investigating the matter. State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Idrisu Kennedy, confirmed to NAN that the case had been reported to the state police command and that the investigation had begun since then.
