2019: Buhari hasn’t done enough for re-election — Junaid, Shettima

Some prominent Nigerians of northern descent evaluated the performance of President Muhammadu Buhari in the light of recent calls for his re-election of some northern governors and stated that the president had not done enough.
This verdict was made by a legislator from the Second Republic, Dr. Junaid Mohammed and the chairman of the Arewa Youths Advisory Forum, AYCF, Alhaji Yerima Shettima, in a talk with Saturday Vanguard, came when the national president of Arewa Youths Forum Alhaji Gambo Gujunju said on Saturday Vanguard that the North was not aware of the ambition perceived by the President in the second term. He also said that the President's anti-corruption struggle was loosing strength, especially as a result of what many saw as a lack of action on the panel report that investigated a former Secretary of the Federal Government and former Director General of the Nigerian Intelligence Agency, NIA, Ambassador Oke.
