A Place In The Sun star Jasmine Harman breaks silence on THAT appearance on The One Show
JASMINE HARMAN finally talked about the "drama" that surrounds his
segment in The One Show, which saw its curves in the headlines.Place A in the sun: At home or away? the host provoked a crisis among viewers when he presented the BBC program in only his swimsuit in 2013.
Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 41-year-old spoke about the "shameful" reaction when she spoke of becoming a vegan after her daughter's birth.
Facing delivery in a purple bathing suit, Jasmine commented, "How funny was that ... I did not expect that reaction and I was very self-conscious."
The hostess admitted she had kept a towel around the bottom half,
however she joked: "I do not think it was my bottom half that caused any
drama."Jasmine, who is married to cameraman Jon Boast, even revealed that she
had been expecting her first child when she recorded the clip, which
was aimed at saving the closure of Newcastle's Turkish baths.
"I was taking all this medication and my boobs were huge," he admitted. "I still had not told anyone, since it was too early ... It's not the same anymore."
In her husband's reaction, Jasmine stated, "I do not think he was particularly upset, he saw the funny side of it." It was a bit embarrassing and a bit out of proportion. "
Meanwhile, the star is backing VegfestUK, who returns to London this
weekend after deciding to make the lifestyle change four years ago."When I first went to VegfestUK, I could not believe that there were
so many people sharing my lifestyle and my feelings. Since then it has
grown and grown," he said.
Jasmine added: "The more people you can reach and realize how big it is, it's not a sacrifice anyway, it's just the opposite. On my first visit I had a kebab doner, for the first time in 25 years!"
