SENATE START AN INVESTIGATE ALLEGED SEIZURE OF SARAKI’S BULLETPROOF CAR


Nigerian Senate moves to investigate Senate President Bukola Saraki over alleged car seized by men of the Nigerian Customs.
According to reports, it was gathered that the current war between the Comptroller General of Nigerian Customs, Hammed Ali and the Senate is in accordance with the seizure of Bukola Saraki’s bulletproof Range Rover Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
Our correspondent gathered that, the car was seize from Senate President’s driver, despite showing the Nigeria Customs necessary documents belonging to Senator Bukola Saraki.
It was also gathered that Nigerian Customs officers in Lagos had on
January 11, 2017, intercepted and impounded a Range Rover SUV


with chassis number “SALGV3TF3EA190243.”
The value of the car was N298 million, which meant that customs duty of N74 million was paid on the car.
