ORLY AIRPORT IN PARIS SHUT DOWN AS SOLDIER KILL TERRORIST.

Prosecutors opened a terrorism inquiry tonight after French soldiers shot dead a man at Paris’s Orly airport, the city’s second-biggest, when he tried to grab a weapon. The airport was evacuated following the incident and all flights were being redirected.
A police source said the dead man had earlier shot at security services in northern Paris and was a radicalised Muslim known to authorities.
“A police road check took place in Stains (northern Paris) this morning at 0700. It turned bad and the individual shot at the officers before fleeing,”A national police official earlier said the incident occurred on Saturday morning local time at Orly, and the soldier was part of the Sentinel special force installed around France to protect sensitive sites after a string of deadly Islamic extremist attacks.

No information about the slain man or any other injuries was available. The official was not authorised to be publicly named. The shooting came after a similar incident last month at the Louvre Museum. France remains under a state of emergency.
“A man took a weapon from a soldier then hid in a shop in the airport before being shot dead by security forces,” an interior ministry spokesman told the press.
He said no one was wounded in the incident.
Interior Minister Bruno Le Roux is due to visit the facility, which is in Paris’ southern outskirts, the spokesman said.
