BUHARI CALLS ON OVER BOKO HARAM.

In a meeting with the UN, president Muhammadu Buhari asked the UN to come into mediation with the terrorist group Boko Haram for the release of the Chibok girls who were abducted in 2014.screenshot_2016-09-23-09-59-592by
The President says that the girls were abducted in April 2014. Speaking with the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon in a bilateral meeting, Buhari said his governnent is willing to accomodate the assistance of the UN in negotiation with Boko Haram.


The President however, said there has been a major challenge in fashioning out the bonafide leadership of the group in order to engage in a discussion with them aince the group is in split. It is at thi juncture that he calls on other groups like the UN outfit to enjoin in the struggle against terrorism in the country. He also clears that the terrorist group is in no way affiliated to lslam or any other religion as no religion backs up killings of the weak and poor.
The UN Secretary General commends the President on his concern to wipe out terrorism From the country and achievement so far on his anti-corruption group in the country. President Buhari also urges the UN not to hesitate to repartriate any financial asset stached away from the country. He say this is because financial assets stached away for foriegn investment deprives the country of development.
